About simonnewbury

Im a guy from the UK. I was once a member on here stopped for a bit then tried re-newing but couldnt remember my log on details so just started it all again. Hope anyone who remembers me from before drops by to say hi and hello to any new freaks whove joined up in my away time.

Im a semi pro magician in the UK hence my interest in Criss and it does amaze me how someone can create such hysteria with magic. Especially as in the UK most people just diss anyone who does it and try to get away from you if you ask to show them something :-)

I work in the media mainly radio but have worked in TV infact doing a magic show at one point which was great fun working with a group of friends bringing magic to the streets of Yorkshire when I lived up there. Now I just do it for fun and the odd gig or two. My main aim now is the 2012 olympics to compete in the decathlon. This will be my last chance to make it as Im 32 but after 10 years out with injury etc Ive deiced to come back to athletics (or at least I did last year). Since then Ive lost in the region of 50kg in weight and as my coach puts it am in build a monster stage of my training which is interesting, fun and exceptionally hard work.....(lots of being sick during training sessions due to lactic tollerance etc)

Anyway, I think Ive probably bored you all plenty by now so hope to chat soon
